Nail Polish Trends to Try on Your Next Holiday

Nail Polish Trends to Try on Your Next Holiday

There is no better time to experiment with some nail art other than a holiday! From the very minimal to act as a warm-up, one could get as creative as they want with the canvas called nails. Here are some of our favorites when it comes to different types of nail polish trends that we think everyone should try.

Delicate Roses
You would need three shades for this experiment. A deep red shade, black matte polish and gold shade. Apply a base coat on the nails and draw the stems of a rose plant. Just a stem or two should do the job. The idea is to create a delicate Japanese blossom. After the stems are drawn, draw the roses; just about five ovular dots slightly overlapping each other and just add a black dot in the middle. You could also draw a bud on one of the nails. Get creative with the shape of the stem and the placement of the flower.

Geometric Lines
Apply a clear coat as a base. Now take the top portion of the nail and apply a coat low-key glitter or a soft beige and bronze glitter. You might want to use two or three coats to get the entire top patch glittered evenly. Leave just about a centimeter or two of a gap and draw two lines – one in white and the other in soft beige glitter or gold glitter – the color that was used on top. This also looks subtle and could be a great office wear shade too.

Just Some Odd Shapes
You could go minimal yet quirky with just golden strips too. Buy the golden and silver strip (or bronze if you like one). Apply a base coat and make thin lines of the gold, silver and bronze strip and get creative with shapes. Remember the more space you give between the strips, the better would be the detailing. Do not just stick to straight lines and go in all directions, but keep it minimal.

Twinkling Stars
This trend is quite famous among young people. Take two or three neon shades. It is imperative that you use a neon shade so that it stands out for this theme. Apply a base coat and then take a single shade and place a dot on the nail. Drag the dot on all four sides, making it a star. The idea is not to have more than two stars on a nail. This is why it is best you do one on the top right and one on the bottom left. Neon blue, fuchsia, and yellow make a great choice for this.

Half Moon
This is one of our favorites when it comes to different types of nail polish trends. Cut a half-moon on the nail tape and use it as a stencil. Place the stencil on the bottom portion of the nail with the curve portion of the moon on top. Apply a dark shade, preferably red on the rest of the portion of the nail. Remove the tape once it is dried. You will notice the semi-circle shape of the moon that can be either left empty or you could add stones of your choice or add some glitter to it. However, do not forget to add the top coat.

While on your holiday, it’s a great time to give different types of nail polish trends a try. So, give these trends a shot and find out which one suits you best.
